What would it look like if technology really helped students go deeper and further in every aspect of the curriculum? During this presentation you will see one teacher's growing success at working towards that goal.  Many of the tools used in this effort are innovative and will likely spark rich, relevant, and engaging activity ideas in teachers. New technology based assessment options will also be shared as well as how technology can be seamlessly used for daily instruction.

Presenter: Nathan Hammond's Biography

Nathan Hammond is a technology innovator and high school German teacher at Central York High School.  Last year he led workshops in 6 states. He is the program initiator and coordinator for two new technology conferences and graduate courses--one for Penn State York for K-12 teachers and one for Sweet Briar College in VA for world language teachers around the country.  He loves Moodle and free/open source programs. He has been part of 6 countries' school systems and has lived on 4 continents. He and his wife have 2 girls and twin boys
